tasting
Taste profile
On the palate it shows a pleasing viscosity that accurately reflects the concentration achieved through drying, carrying the aromatic profile forward, all supported by a beautiful minerality needed to balance the sweetness of this wine.
Grape variety
Grapes and vineyard
100% Erbaluce, from hillside vineyards exclusively in the municipality of Caluso
Harvest
By hand, in early September, with a very rigorous selection of the grapes best suited to drying: fully ripe, with loose bunches.
Bouquet
Aromatic notes
Sulé has an intense, brilliant golden colour with pronounced orange highlights, like a setting sun. The sweet, slightly melancholic fragrance fills the nose, recalling dried fruit, plum jam, incense, honey and candied orange, within a very broad range of aromas that also makes room for notes of liquorice, saffron and sandalwood.
